Depression Maybe you feel yourself dragging a lot of the time and are ready for a change. Perhaps you feel like everything's falling apart or that you have the blues. To curb emotional overwhelm, I utilize mindfulness to teach emotion regulation, how to tolerate distress, and ways to increase interpersonal effectiveness.
Anxiety Do you experience consistent worry or fear? Perhaps your anxiety manifests in the body as tightness in the chest, a pit in your stomach or increased heart rate. I will provide you with tools to ease your level of anxiety while simultaneously exploring root causes.
Sexual Trauma Are you experiencing nightmares, flashbacks, or emotional detachment from others? Sexual trauma violates the most vulnerable and heartfelt aspects of one’s mind and body. When working with sexual trauma survivors, I help bridge the conscious and unconscious minds and to identify emotions aligned with experiences that words cannot always express. Additionally, I assist clients in rewriting part or all of their story if desired; one that distances the self from the problem they are facing. This allows one to weave together a future that resonates and a past that is acceptable.

Depression Maybe you find yourself feeling irritable and angry most of the time. Perhaps there is an impalpable sadness lending to agitated sleep and difficulty thinking or feeling. Occasionally, even if you know you need help it can be hard to know where to start. Finding therapy is a brave first step and we will work as a team as I help you identify triggers and create solutions to foster well-being and drive positive change. Men facing depression often wrestle with feeling behind in life, stubborn fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and diminished sex drive.
Anxiety Our culture tells men from the time they are little boys not to feel too much, to be tough and not to cry. This societal pressure often incites anxiety, whether it is felt somatically or in the psyche. Men often face anxiety around issues such as finding a romantic partner, being financially stable, standing out at work, or simply living up to what it means to be a "man". We will explore these struggles together as I guide you to find ease and become fully aware to actuate your desired here and now.
