Expressive Art Therapy is a multimodal therapy employing all art modalities in the therapy room such as visual arts, movement and dance, drama, and music. In Expressive Arts Therapy the emphasis is placed on the process of creating the art, not the final product. Why Expressive Art Therapy? As Julia Cameron the author of The Artists Way notes, "Art opens the closets, airs out the cellars and attics. It brings healing."
